16th AGM & 8th EGM of The Premier Bank Ltd and 10% stock dividend declared.

The 16th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of The Premier Bank Limited was held on June 16, 2015 at 10.30 a.m. at the Bashundhara Convention Center-2, Baridhara, Dhaka. The Bank declared 10% stock dividend in the form of Bonus Share for the year ended December 31, 2014. Prior this at 10.00 am the 8th EGM of The Bank was held. On the basis of Bangladesh Bank & regulatory body approval, all the shareholders of the EGM approve to increase Authorized Capital to Tk.1000 crore from Tk.600 crore.

The Meeting was presided by Dr. H. B. M. Iqbal, Chairman of the Board of Directors of The Premier Bank Ltd. and attended by Mr. Shafiqur Rahman, Mr. Abdus Salam Murshedy, Mr. Arif Alam, Directors, Mr. A. H. M. Ferdous, Alternate Director, Mr. Khondker Fazle Rashid, Managing Director, Mr. Md. Ehsan Khasru, Adviser, and Mr. Syed Ahsan Habib, FCMA-EVP & Company Secretary of the Bank & other Shareholders of the Bank.

All the Shareholders thanked Dr. H. B. M. Iqbal- Chairman for his immense contribution for the progress of the Bank. The Premier Bank Ltd. earned an operating profit of Tk. 275.00 Crore for the year ended December 31, 2014
